JOKER

Porque ler é fixe, agora acabei de ler a graphic novel "Joker", também para limpar a porcaria de comic que li anteriormente...

"I dind't know the particulars as to why, but he was... Joker was being released from Arkham Asylum...

So begins this searing look at the crazed world and cracked mind of the Joker... the crowned king of the Gotham City rackets.

Joker is getting out of the madhouse and, though he's laughing, he's not happy. While away, his fellow rogues have sliced and diced his chunk of the pie and sold it off for scrap - thinking he was gone for good. But now Joker's back on the street and eager to make Gotham bleed like it's never bled before.

During thins long night of the soul, he'll cross paths with the likes of The Penguin, Two-Faces, Killer Croc, Harley uinn, The Riddler and, of course, The Batman... and heaven help them all.

Told through the eyes of his loyal (but naive) henchman Jonny Frost, JOKER, is a true noir crime novel - a harrowing journey into a city of rain-soaked streets, dirty sheets and nothing but bad choises."

A história trata-se, muito resumidamente, do Joker a tentar recuperar o seu "reinado" de crime em Gotham City, mas, desta vez com a pequena ajuda de Jonny Frost, possivelmente o mais próximo que este teve de um amigo. Mas, como todos já sabem, esse tipo de relações para o Joker são aliens.

Um ambiente muito obscuro e rodeado de sexo, drogas e rock and roll, de algum modo parecido com o filme Dark Knight (em que por acaso, o Joker está visualmente muito parecido).

Foi uma leitura muito interesante e serviu para limpar o Joker da treta do comic que li anteriormente e, melhor que isso, nesta graphic novel apesar de muito pouco, existem espécies de demonstrações amorosas do Joker para com a Harley, se bem que muito despercebidas.
